I can't find the Gud Match application in the app stores

If you can't find the Gud Match app in the App Store on iOS or the Google Play Store on Android, follow the steps below.

iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If you don't see the option to download the Gud match app on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, it usually means you need to change some settings.

Check your iOS version

To download the Gud Match app, your iOS device must have iOS version 13.0 or later installed.

  1. Go to Configuration/Settings.
  2. Scroll down and select General.
  3. Select About.
  4. Your version number will appear next to Version.

If your iOS system is older than version 13.0 but you have previously downloaded the Gud Match application, please see the Apple support site for instructions on how to download an older version of Gud Match.

If your iOS version is 13.0 or higher, continue with the troubleshooting steps below.

Change or disable restrictions

iOS 12.0 or later

NOTE: If the Time Used setting has been configured on a child's device, you will receive a message prompting you to enter the Time Used code before changing this setting.

  1. Go to Configuration/Settings.
  2. Select Time of use.
  3. Select Content and privacy restrictions.
  4. Select iTunes and App Store purchases.
  5. Select Install apps.
  6. Select Allow.
  7. Try Gud Match again.

Verify that your device is Google Play Protect certified

If your device is not Google Play Protect certified, the Gud Match app may not appear in the Google Play Store. To check your certification status:

  1. Open the application Google Play Store.
  2. Select the icon Menu .
  3. Select Configuration/Settings.
  4. At Play Protect Certification, see if your device is Play Protect certified. 
  • If your device is not certified and is running Android 8.0 or higher, please contact your device manufacturer for assistance.
  • If your device is not certified and uses an Android version between 4.4.2 and 7.1.2, continue with the troubleshooting steps below.
  • If your device is certified, please contact us for assistance.
Adjust or disable parental controls

If your parental controls limit app downloads, the Gud Match app may not appear in the Google Play Store. To adjust your Google Play Store parental controls:

  1. Open the application Play Store.
  2. Select Menu .
  3. Select Configuration/Settings.
  4. In the section User controls, select Parental Controls.
    • If the parental control is disabled, continúa con los pasos siguientes. NOTA: Si usas una aplicación de control parental independiente de terceros, puede que también tengas que desactivarla.
    • If the parental control is enabled, use the switch to turn it off. You may need to enter your PIN.
  5. Try searching for the Gud Match app again. Once Gud Match is installed, you can re-enable parental controls.
Clear the Play Store cache
  1. Open the application Adjustments.
  2. Select Applications and notifications.
  3. Select View all applications, then scroll down and select the application Google Play Store.
  4. Select Storage.
  5. Select Clear cache.
  6. Select Delete data o Delete storage.
  7. Open the Google Play Store application and try searching for Gud Match again.
Check your Android version
  1. Open the application Adjustments.
  2. Select About the phone o About the tablet.
  3. Look at the number below Android version.

NOTE: These steps may vary by version or manufacturer. If you can't find your version of Android, contact your device manufacturer for help.

If your Android version is 8.0 or higher, contact the manufacturer of your Android phone or tablet for help finding and installing the Gud Match application.

If your Android version is 7.1.2 or lower, continue with the troubleshooting steps below.

Install the application directly from the web

Algunos dispositivos con versiones antiguas de Android son compatibles con Gud Match, pero no se podrá descargar la aplicación de Gud Match desde la Play Store de Google. Es posible que estos dispositivos puedan descargar una versión de Gud Match directamente de nuestros servidores siguiendo los pasos que se detallan a continuación. NOTA: Es necesario que utilices un dispositivo con Android entre 4.4.2 y 7.1.2 para instalar Gud Match desde esta página.

Set up your Android phone or tablet:

  1. Go to Configuration/Settings.
  2. Play Adjustments.
  3. Play Security.
  4. Check the box next to the option Unknown sources: Allow installation of applications from sources other than the Play Store.
  5. Play Accept to confirm this change.

NOTE: You can return to your original settings once the Gud Match application is installed.

Then follow these steps on your Android phone or tablet:

  1. Download the Gud Match application.
  2. A blank screen will open and then close to indicate that the download has started.
  3. When the download is complete, swipe down from the top of your screen to open the notifications.
  4. Tap on the downloaded Gud Match file and select Install.
  5. The installation is complete when the notification bar at the top of the screen shows Gud Match installed correctly.
  6. Locate the application Gud Match and start it.
  7. If prompted, enter your Gud Match email and password using the on-screen keyboard.

NOTE: Rooted or uncertified Android mobile devices cannot download the Gud Match app from the Play Store. There is no block preventing these devices from accessing Gud Match, but it may not function properly.
